Useful

I have used this tool some, the only thing I would consider is that when holding a synthetic made crystal (before I found a crystal that was pre-drilled) is that I had to use a rubber band to keep the item I was drill locked in place. I have arthritis, and need to have something that would stay clamped better. I was just starting out and working with seashells that didn't require a lot of force this was perfect but in the long run I've switched to a vise. All in all it's not a bad purchase for a quick hold so you can protect your fingers. Long game, I'd suggest investing in a small vise. :)

Great tool to hold beads in place

This bead clamp has made my bead drilling so much easier. I use it more than anticipated.
