Highly flexible and heat resistant Silicone Rubber is impregnated with varying grits of abrasive Silicone Carbide particles to form a strong bond that won’t fly apart or disintegrate under heat or high RPM’s generated by rotary handpieces. Available in coarse, medium, fine, and extra fine grit. Use with our Steel Polishing Mandrels.

Q: The wheel width is 1inch- What is the diameter of this silicon polishing wheel? Will it fit or work on a bench type buffer?

A: It actually measures closer to 3/4". The width and the diameter are the same. The circumference is 3" and it is about 1/8th inch thick. It will fit with rotary handpieces with a 3/32" mandrel shaft.
