This mill is economical but excellent quality for the price. Well-machined, the rollers are tempered steel polished to a mirror shine. Features two flat rollers, two wire rollers and a pattern roller with two different patterns. The gear ratio is 3:1 and wire rollers adjust from 0.75 to 5mm. Rollers are easy to change for different applications.

NOTE: For drawing plain sheet metal use a maximum 5 SWG gauge (3.75mm) and a minimum of 26 SWG gauge (0.45mm). For drawing wire use a maximum 5 SWG gauge and a minimum of 20 SWG gauge.

A: yes, this will work for making rings and bracelets, depending on which of the rollers you use.

Q: What is the max width of metal you can send through? What is the max gauge?

A:
The mill is 80mm, so not quite 1/4" more than 3" wide and (per our item description) "For drawing plain sheet metal use a maximum 5 SWG gauge (3.75mm) and a minimum of 26 SWG gauge (0.45mm). For drawing wire use a maximum 5 SWG gauge and a minimum of 20 SWG gauge." Thanks

Q: Can you make square wire?

A: Yes. You can turn round wire into square wire with the rolling mill using the roller with grooves.
