Cordless soldering convenience you can depend on. High quality nickel cadmium batteries provide up to 126 electronic joints from a fully charged iron. Maximum heat of 700 degrees Fahrenheit. Can be used with Stay Brite Solder to solder small parts and for light repair work. For larger soldering projects use our Butane Soldering Torch.

Q: Can you use 14k solder with this for small minor joints?

A: If you are soldering 14k you will need a torch such as our SO300. A soldering iron does not generate enough heat to solder 14k.

Q: The tip melted the first time I used this soldering iron. Why is that?
